Minecraft Server Rules

Welcome to the PlayBlack Studios Minecraft server!

Please read this document in order to get build rights on our server. Please read everything.

1st:

Admins or pancakeface are there to make sure everything runs smoothly.You may do what they ask you to.

Moderators are also there to make sure everything is running well.Please follow their instructions.

VIPs are special players or PlayBlack Studios members that happen to play Minecraft on our server. They do not have any administrative powers so do not ask them for such things.

Halloween King is the player who won the last halloween contest.

Xmas Hunter is the player who won the christmas hunt.

Note: You can trust people with coloured names. It is highly unlikely(not to say impossible) that one of them would do you any harm or steal stuff from you or your chests.

2nd:

Do not build near spawn!

Why?

Because it's dirty to do that! The world is big enough you can build anywhere.

3rd:

Do not grief!

That includes taking blocks from places that have obviously been built by someone else. Definition of someone else: Not you! 

4th:

Do not steal!

5th:

We're all mature people. Please use your brains before starting to rant about something.

Stay calm, stay friendly, there is no need to be offensive.

Seriously bad language and racism is not tolerated!

If you are offensive, you'll risk a ban!

6th:

If you see someone griefing or stealing, report that person immediately!

7th:

Don't be an ass.

8th:

This is an english speaking server.

The fact that we host the server in germany is not relevant to the language spoken. We have users from all around the world online and therefore we speak the language we all can speak at least a little.

However, you have a couple of options.

• 1st: Speak english.
• 2nd: don't speak at all.
• 3rd: speak any other language and land yourself a ban.

Please note: If you're 100% sure that there's no-one on the server that is likely not to understand your native language, there is, of course, no need to talk english.

9th:

Don't ask for free stuff. Everything on our server (besides some stuff that serves the community) is made of mined blocks. It's up to you to live up to it.

10th:

• Don't deface the environment!
• No floating trees,
• no unneeded holes,
• no 1x1 Noob Towers,
• no Lava Spam,
• no Water Spam

11th:

The cake is a lie!

12th:

Do not give away the password to people who ask. We will know if you did and you'll land yourself a ban.

13th:

It is your responsiblity to make sure that only you play with your account on our server. That means: No brother, no sister or friends or daddy or mommy. Just you. If you're using a "shared account" to play Minecraft, make sure you tell us that. Anythign else will land you a ban.

14th:

Use your brains! Seriously, if you prove to be thick as lead bricks you'll be kicked. If you come back, you'll be banned. There's no place for stupid people in our world.

Now that you know all the rules, here are some more relevant information you should be reading.

Commands:

As Player:

1. /warp [name] - Warp to the specified warp
2. /sethome - Set your home to your current location (You'll also spawn there when you die)
3. /home - Get back to the place you set with /sethome
4. /spawn - Warp back to the spawn area
5. /cbank - your personal bank system
6. /deathtp - Teleport to your last death point

As VIP:

Everything you have as player

1. /jumpto - Jump to the block you're looking at. This command is also tied to the compass.
2. /thru - Go through walls. This command is also tied to the compass
3. /pw - Private Warps, you have up to 5
4. /tp - Teleport to other players

As Contest champion:

There are several extra commands you may have as the champion of a contest which can range from making huge glass bubbles for underwater work to a magic carpet to bridge huge gaps between mountains.

How to get the Buildrights:

Tell an Lucy the secret password via /msg - If you write the password into the global chat, you will be ignored. 

The password is: Jimbo Rules!

You need to tell Lucy the password by using this command: /msg lucy password <the password> (without the brackets)
